THE Horror Stories of WINTER DUBROC
The collections Clara Winter writes about revolve around one genre, Romance, but this genre has a few subgenres in its name.
While Vampire Island revolves around an island in Northern Québec part of the mysterious landmark of Mont La Bellerose in a forever winter spell it also is loosely based on The Nutcracker Prince. The characters moved to an island they knew so little and only then do they realise Yuletide and Christmas seem to collide and take over all the dwellers.
Welcome to a Gothic Christmas Romance!
Other series like Poison Ivy takes place in Owl City, an island northeast of Montréal in Québec. An author meets a hockey goaltender while on vacation in Ireland. She has no idea how her life will change and while putting her in the spotlight it also brings back some ghosts from her past. They may love one another but could it be enough?
Welcome to a Psychological Sports Romance!
Another series coming soon is Crossbones. Captain Pearl Bloodhair is at the head of the White Wolf King on a mission to avenge her father, but while doing so, a spell has her bond to her sexy teenage fantasy, Captain Gabriel Lynch. Meanwhile, her true love, Captain Sørensen is fighting his way back to Pearl but not without an entire fleet coming for him.
Welcome to a Mermaid Romance!
And finally, A Viking Story, the crown jewel of Clara Winter’s collections! A series focusing on an alternate Viking Age history with historical figures given a new story to tell. Anlón Cennétig, son of the Irish lower King Cennétig, handed to his uncle along with his pagan mother to ensure he would remain quiet, is transported on a journey to become a Viking. Meanwhile, a princess from Frankia must brave the Saxon lands to become a new king’s wife to save her people from their enemies.
Welcome to a Dark Ages Romance!

The collections Lexie Wayne once wrote about revolve around one genre, Gothic, but this genre has a few subgenres in its name.
While Liberty revolves around what can hide in space with the possibility of using science back and forth in time, it has horror elements within it. The epic conclusion to Liberty is coming soon.
Other series like The Lord Impaler and The Satan Series revolve around the possibilities of species coexisting with humans. Species from folklore and legends include vampires, rougarous, Skins, Stitches, witches, swampers, lycanthropes, and mummies.
The collections Lexie Wayne worked on, while still in the Gothic style, revolve around the paranormal. The one common factor in the book series is this one mystical place, Mont La Bellerose. Coming soon is Vampire Island’s re-release under Clara Winter, which brings in new characters, legends, and folklore mixed with history.
